Whether you are traveling with your family or prepping for gatherings, having a game plan for unexpected health issues can help!

The place to start is with your primary care physician (PCP). They can help you decide what to do next.

As a Texas Children’s Health Plan member, you can also call our 24-Hour Help Line. You'll be able to talk to a registered nurse and get advice around the clock.

If you aren’t able to visit your PCP in person, you can have an online health care visit with a provider through Texas Children's Anywhere Care.

Urgent care clinics are also open late and on weekends to treat non-emergency conditions. To see a full list of urgent care clinics close to you, visit texaschildrenshealthplan.org/urgentcare.

If you have a life-threatening or serious emergency, you should go to the nearest emergency room or call 9-1-1.
